A year at our school

We feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside the wonderful families in our hospital school community. Every day, we are inspired by the resilience, strength, and kindness of our students and their families. We are deeply grateful for the beautiful feedback we receive — your thoughtful words mean so much to our team and remind us how special this work truly is.
Bugs, microscopes and iPads. Our mini scientists loved our visit from the Royal National Park Environmental Education Centre to explore the weird and wonderful world of invertebrates!
We’re having a Bush Christmas in the Hospital School Room—and it’s all about sugar gliders! With Santa and the Sugar Glider as our guide, we’re discovering fascinating facts about our furry friends, crafting our very own sugar glider kites and getting competitive with Native Animal Bingo.
We’ve taken our eTour to many local schools this year, and students have loved learning all about Sutherland Hospital.
