At Sutherland Hospital School, we offer a variety of programs in both the Hospital Schoolroom and our Community Class to help students build new skills, make friends, and explore new interests.

Art Therapy

Our weekly hands-on art sessions let students explore their imagination, boost self-esteem, and discover new ways to express and understand their emotions.

Music Therapy

Our weekly music sessions give students a creative, uplifting space to build confidence, release stress, and develop emotional wellbeing skills.

Incursions in the Hospital

We offer a range of engaging incursions that give students hands-on experiences with animals, practical résumé and interview skills, guidance on safe social media use, and opportunities to learn about the culture and history of our local area. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.

Royal National Park Environmental Education Centre

We are lucky enough to have the Royal National Park Environmental Education Centre visit us and provide our students with an interactive, hands-on incursion right in our classroom!
