Student opportunities and activities

At Sutherland Hospital School, we offer a variety of programs in both the Hospital Schoolroom and our Community Class to help students build new skills, make friends, and explore new interests.

Our programs may include:

Hospital Orientation e-Tour Incursion

We run weekly Hospital Orientation e-Tour incursions for Stage 1 students in nearby primary schools and for students in support units at local high schools.

The e-Tour provides a safe and engaging introduction to the hospital environment (virtually). Students explore hospital roles, medical equipment, and terminology, and even have the opportunity to dress up as medical professionals and learn how to use a stethoscope to listen to their heartbeat.

Spots are available, and bookings are now open. Contact us to secure your school’s booking or find out more.
