The Sutherland Hospital Community Class is a specialist educational setting for high school students who are in the process of re-engaging with school after a period of sustained absence.
In valuing the individual, and considering their unique and often complex social, emotional and medical needs, we are able to provide a nurturing environment that is rich in opportunity, inclusivity and support.
The Community Class is situated in a custom-designed classroom on the campus of Miranda Public School.
Students enrolled in the program attend four days per week, and have one transitional day, where they attend their census school for the duration of the 10 week program.
